Veterinary Homeopathy Institute (VHI) provides training for veterinarians and veterinary students in the medical art of classical homeopathy. We also offer classes on homeopathy education to pet parents and homeopaths, including homeopathy first aid for pets, Bach Flower Remedies, and short courses in advanced homeopathic prescribing.
Classical homeopathy is a form of holistic medicine that uses small doses of natural remedies to return an injured or ill patient to health by initiating a healing response within the body. Holistic health care practitioners see the patient as a whole, rather than diagnosing and treating each individual organ system as if they are separate illnesses. Homeopathy respects the body's innate ability to heal itself, and provides the proper stimulation with small doses of remedies to alleviate symptoms and restore health. Homeopathic medicine effectively treats acute injuries and illnesses, and successfully manages and cures chronic conditions such as immune-mediated disease, cancer, vaccinosis, and many of the other -itis conditions seen in our patients.
