Your Course, Your Choice: Hybrid or Entirely Online
168 hours CE

Hybrid: Session 1 is in-person in beautiful Traverse City, Michigan. Sessions 2-5 are online: a combination of live online sessions, work at your own pace webinars, study material, and case-work. Our intentionally small class size provides a great deal of personal mentoring support that is continued after graduation.

Online: Want to take the Foundations Course, but are unable to travel? We understand! It has been our experience that the students and faculty develop the best relationship when they get to meet in person, but we do not want to exclude anyone from our course simply because they cannot travel.
  • Session 1 is attended online in real time with the in-person faculty and class.
  • Sessions 2-5 follow the same study as the hybrid course described above.

Simply specify which class option you prefer (hybrid or online only) when you fill out your application form.

2023 Session One Foundations Course attendees, observing a homeopathic intake on Iris the dog, performed by faculty instructor Dr. Weis at a client's home on Sunday morning in Traverse City. The clients were so grateful for the healing that took place, they made breakfast for the class! Iris' intake provided the foundation for an on-going learning experience for the class, in which they learned step by step to take a homeopathic history, identify the best homeopathic medicine, and follow the patient's response to treatment through Session Five, when we returned for more breakfast and a follow up on Iris.

"There's honestly so much I enjoyed it's hard to pick just one thing. I liked the community that was built-not easy to do when all but two sessions were online.
But Laura and Lisa put their hearts and souls into this course and that's what built our community.
I would say that the passion they bring to the course was amazing and what allowed all the other great things to fall into place - the learning, the homework, the lectures, webinars - all of it done with such love for the art of homeopathy."

- Dr. Monica Turenne, Ann Arbor, Michigan

"This is the most excited I've been about anything since vet school.
I can't say it enough, and I have to hold back in rooms with clients."

"I enjoyed so many things! The small class size, the super encouraging and open nature of the class (this is huge – I never once felt stupid even when I made mistakes), the broad scope of the class, the LM teaching...Just having the chronic case management help from almost the beginning, that was huge. I love how the curriculum was adjusted as we went along based on what we needed as students."

Dr. April volunteered her dog Willow as the homeopathic patient for the 2024 VHI Class's chronic case study. Chronic disease training begins at the end of session one and continues throughout the course.

Willow has a long history of digestive troubles that were poorly responsive to many allopathic and holistic treatments, and had recently developed mammary tumors. The class received Willow's case under the guidance of the VHI faculty, and as their training progressed, selected her homeopathic medicine and followed her progress throughout the course. The following is feedback from Dr. Linson and a picture of Willow, who is thriving under homeopathic care:

"I just wanted to say thanks for this course. It was everything I hoped it would be & I’m so excited working in this field.  When I was AHVMA last year I was enthralled by both of your lectures. I left there and told my technician I was doing the class no matter what. I don’t’ think I’ve ever been that high about any medical modality other than when I first graduated veterinary school. It was a long wait until 2024 to get started, but worth it!

Willow and my family thank you for Willow’s massively improved quality of life! Thank you both so much for such an impactful class. The presentation of the material was terrific, your flexibility seeing where we needed help & where we were getting it, your encouragement when we all felt like we were completely clueless, and the upbeat, positive vibe was amazing! Forever grateful, April."

"I enjoyed learning this wonderful mode of medicine with a lovely group of peers.
This course was great that it was a mix of in-person and distance."
- Dr. Robin Soifer
Kalispell, Montana

"Beyond the material and the knowledge, I appreciated how much (the faculty) are so in tune with how we were learning and responding. I loved how empathic and patient you were when we couldn't understand."
- Dr. Laurelyn Barnett
Virginia Beach, Virginia
